This article illuminates that there has been an increased awareness and identification of concussions since TBI Laws were passed. It is apparent that education of at least both athletes and team personnel will lead to improved knowledge and reporting of a concussion.
However, there is still a lot of work to be done regarding the prevention of a concussion.

Concussion and its effects are real and devastating but it is the "Silent Epidemic". What does "Silent Epidemic" mean? Why is it silent? Is it really an epidemic? Why is real and devastating? What are the implications? But Is there proof? This blog is an effort to remove the "Silent" label and, more importantly, clarify how to recognize it and make a plan to do something about it.
